Demo network

Share your connection

Install the app, sign in, and press Start. Your device joins the demo network and carries test traffic while sharing is on. Stop it any time.

Sign-in: ask the presenter for the demo login. Sharing runs on Wi-Fi only by default, so mobile data is not used.

Android phone

Android 7 or later.

Download the Android app (50 MB)
  1. Open the downloaded file. If Android asks, allow Install unknown apps for your browser.
  2. If Play Protect warns that the app is unknown, tap Install anyway. This demo build is not on the Play Store.
  3. Open the app, tap Sign in and use the demo login.
  4. Accept the consent screen and tap Start.

Laptop or server

A small command-line program. Pick your system:

  1. Sign in once (it opens a code to approve in your browser): 
    ./peer login -issuer https://auth.opssnode.com/realms/peers -cp-url https://cp.opssnode.com -state-dir ./peer-state
  2. Start sharing (stop with Ctrl-C): 
    ./peer -cp-url https://cp.opssnode.com -state-dir ./peer-state

macOS / Linux: run chmod +x peer-* and rename the file to peer first. macOS may block an unsigned program: run xattr -d com.apple.quarantine peer. Windows: use peer-windows-amd64.exe in place of ./peer.
